The Dusit Thani Hotel Pattaya seems to be showing its age with a tired and slightly rundown appearance. Whilst I considered the service acceptable, it didn’t quite elevate the overall experience beyond mediocre. Upon entering the room, the worn-out carpet and visible traces of wear and tear were immediately noticeable. Additionally, there were signs of mould and age along the walls, suggesting a lack of proper maintenance.
The check-in staff did not provide information about the resort, the restaurants, breakfast times, nor provide a map, or wifi password, or anything else which could have been helpful. I found this a bit of a disappointment as this type of welcome information is normally provided nowadays.
However, the resort hotel boasts three beautifully maintained pools that provide a refreshing retreat. Surrounding these pools is a lush garden area that enhances the overall ambiance and offers a serene atmosphere.
One highlight of the hotel is the stunning view from the patio overlooking the beach. It truly made for a picturesque setting, perfect for relaxing and soaking in the beauty of the surroundings.
The food and beverage service at the hotel was top-notch. I was impressed by the variety of options available and the quality of the dishes served. What’s more, the immediate gold membership offered to guests enhanced the overall experience by granting a generous 20% discount on all items consumed within the hotel.
Overall, the Dusit Thani Pattaya may have some room for improvement in terms of upkeep and maintenance to provide a more pleasant stay for its guests.
