Review 1: Premium Economy Class

Flying with All Nippon Airways to Bangkok was a seamless and modern experience from start to finish. Checking in online and dropping off my bag at the automatic baggage machine was quick and efficient. The face recognition technology used at various points throughout the journey, from entering security to boarding the flight, was a convenient touch that made the process smooth and hassle-free.
I had booked a seat in premium economy class, and I must say it was worth the upgrade. The premium economy class service offered various perks compared to regular economy, including a generous seat pitch, wider seats, and a more exclusive feel with only two rows and 14 seats in a small separate cabin.
The crew onboard the flight were attentive and accommodating. They even offered earplugs and face masks, dental kits and slippers showing an extra level of care for passengers’ comfort and well-being.
The in-flight service was a comfortable and enjoyable experience overall. While the meal service was the same as economy class, the presentation was thoughtful and well-executed. The flight attendants did not offer menu cards, but they provided laminated explanation cards in both English and Japanese, complete with photos to showcase the available meal choices to passengers. The addition of ice cream as part of the meal service was a delightful touch that added a touch of luxury to the journey.
One highlight of the flight was the complimentary wine offering, which included wines usually reserved for business class passengers. This elevated the in-flight dining experience for premium economy passengers, allowing them to enjoy a taste of luxury during the journey. The selection of wines added a touch of sophistication to the overall service.
Furthermore, the in-flight entertainment and additional sandwich and soft drink service before landing provided on this relatively short 5:40 hrs flight were much appreciated. The attentiveness of the cabin crew and the additional services offered contributed to a pleasant and relaxing journey.
Overall, flying All Nippon Airways to Bangkok in premium economy class was a fantastic choice. The convenience of the modern technology, the comfort of the cabin, and the excellent service from the crew all contributed to a memorable and enjoyable journey. I would highly recommend this airline for anyone looking for a premium flying experience. Having full lounge access and priority baggage labeling included in this premium economy tier is a game-changer—a thoughtful touch and rare perk that most other airlines completely overlook.
