I stayed in a executive club suite which is on the 36rd floor. There is a small club desk for check-in, check-out and a concierge function. The always superfriendly staff is attentive, helpful and ready for any assistance that you might need.

The suite size is generous and offers a nice view of Dubai and the Burj tower. Separate living room and a very comfortable bed make the suite like a small home away from home.

The best asset of the Club Floor is the Club Lounge. There is a daily excellent breakfast served there, plus all day snacks, afternoon tea and of course a happy hour in the evening offering wines, cocktails and more.

There are several restaurants in the hotel. I did not have a chance to try them all, but i had a very dinner at PAX restaurant which serves excellent italian food in a huge italian style area. Also here a great view of Dubai.

Maison Mathis in the lobby is a 24-hour open restaurant which opens nice food, full bar and is a great place to get something after a long flight or before traveling back since many of the flights in and out of the UAE are during the night.

I have tried Namm Spa which offers a nice clean, very modern athmosphere and real thai staff which offer authentic massages in a wonderful manner. Highly recommended.

All in all i can say that staying at the Dusit Dubai was an excellent choice. It’s a nice big hotel with a swimming pool on the roof top (including Gym), several restaurants, great transportation opportunities and wonderful staff from all over the world which are never tired to offer you any kind of help.

Checked-in online, no waiting time at the security (very efficient as always) quick visit to the lounge and then on time boarding.

Friendly welcome on board. Switzerland Menu Cycle TICINO. Nice meal service, good quality food, friendly and charming crew and service. Flawless flight with just about the right amount of attention and a short rest time on this 5.30hr flight.

Ice cream service before landing in Dubai. Fast arrival cards already handed out on board which is very convenient.

The lounge is solid, food and and beverage choice rather basic, can be very crowded at times. There is a overflow area in the back but still tends to be full often. Upstairs is a the longest airport bar with cocktail service with a nice view.

There is going to be a XXL Lounge at the Dock E where all long-haul flights depart. This will probably bring some relief to the Airside Lounge and the shabby Panorama lounge in Terminal E. Looking forward to the its opening which should be in 4. quarter 2015.

I stayed in 1 bed-room suite on the club level at the Ritz-Carlton Financial Center Dubai. The suite was very spacious with a separate toilet in the living room area, a nice writing desk and a separate table to sit near the coffee maker which was a Nespresso machine and a choice of different coffees and tea’s and a kettle for hot water.

The bedroom was very cozy with all electric curtains and a separate TV. There was a walk-in dressing room and a oversized bathroom. It contained a big shower stall which included a rain shower as well as 6 massage outlets including a little bench to hold onto. A bathtub which was bigger than in most hotels and again a separate toilet, also xl-size.

Amenities were all top notch and I did not miss one thing in this beautiful suite.
The club lounge is a world of it’s own. A full bar service is available all day, including some bar chairs, a restaurant-area and some sofa’s to linger in. There was a constant choice of snacks and meals, serving breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, light dinner and sweets. Everything was top quality and replenished frequently. A wonderful oasis in busy Dubai.

The hotel is located in Dubai’s financial district, conveniently accessible to most business buildings, the Dubai metro, the Dubai Mall and many more places. Travel time to/from airport was only about 15 min.

There are several restaurants and bars at the Ritz-Carlton, including a coffee shop, Café Belge, a outdoor shisha lounge, a great steak house and a indoor and outdoor bar.

I had a very delightful stay and i would like to praise all the staff members working there. Each and everybody seemed to really care about their guests and gave me a very welcoming and comfortable feeling. I felt great being taken care of by such nice ambitious staff members and will certainly return there on my next stay.

I would recommend this hotel to all business travellers and people who like to stay in Dubai downtown.

I arrived at the JW Marriott Hotel at around 9pm after a long trip from europe. I was greeted cheerfully and check-in very speedy. My room was on the top floor of the hotel with a nice view. The room was spacious, impeccably clean with a nice big bathroom and a comfortable big bed.

All the staff that I have met at the hotel were always smiling and offering friendly greetings.

I had a sunday brunch at the Xanat restaurant which was great value for money. A huge buffet offering all kinds of mexican and international food, salads and wide choice of desserts including freshly made crepes. The brunch also included 2 mimosa drinks.

A perfect city hotel with a nice bar and very kind employees which offer you any help you might need and all the comfort which is necessary to make you feel welcome and comfortable.

MEXICO CITY-FRANKFURT

This is the my first flight with the new B-748 which Lufthansa operates in 3 different versions. I was sitting in the main cabin lower deck which seems very spacious. The new seats are fully flat and very comfortable. The upper deck seems rather narrow with a 2/2 seating arrangement and unless you are traveling as a couple or with a companion I would not recommend to sit upstairs. Your neighbor always have to climb over you, or you have to climb over your neighbor which could be rather annoying. The pillows are nice and soft and the blankets are standard. I felt very comfy in the seat and I also slept very well.

Upon boarding in Mexico they served Margaritas as welcome drinks. I thought it was a great idea and a nice treat.

The service in C-class on LH is rather basic. They start with a cocktail service and a small package of nuts. No choice of first course, but including a fresh salad. A choice of 3 hot meals are available. The presentation of the hot meals is not very nice and not business class like. (3 meals stacked on top of each other with the alu-lids still in place) Cheese and dessert is served at the same time to speed up the service. (Bookings was very light, only about 1/3 of the cabin full).  Food tasted good and there is a large choice of nice bread. Breakfast was served about 1 hour before landing, containing 1 tray with a small portion of fresh fruit, small cold cuts and a choice of Crepe or Egg flan. Cabin crew were friendly and efficent but not more than that. Nice announcements from the captain.

I love the new Boeing 747-8, seating is very comfortable, nice layout and great seats. Airport handling in MEX and FRA were very professional and efficient. A good product, reliable and good value for money.

The Atlantic Kempinski Hotel was built in 1909 and was planned to host the guest of the big ocean cruise liners which were departing from Hamburg over the north atlantic. He hotel has a very interesting history and is an icon for the city of Hamburg.

I arrived from the airport by train and the hotel is only a few minutes way from the Hauptbahnhof.

Check-in was very swift and friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and i especially liked the high ceilings which were everywhere to be found in the hotel.

The hotel features everything you expect from a 5* hotel. There is also a Nespresso coffee maker available in the room. Great idea, i loved it.

Breakfast is served in the Alstersalon, a very nice restaurant with a nice view. The buffet is very rich and and luxury and you will find everything that you heart might desire in the morning.

The hotel has a beautiful bar as well, all decorated in the maritim theme which you find everywhere in the hotel. The maritim style decorations and the fascinating history make the hotel very special. Staff are extremly friendly throughout the hotel.

I had the very special opportunity the have a look behind the scene which was fascinating and exciting and saw some memorabilia of past days.

The hotel also features the Atlantic Restaurant, a very chic place which is open for lunch and dinner.

A private movie theater is also available for small groups.

I loved my stay at the Atlantic and recommend it to everybody who likes a old-style grand-hotel with a perfect location and a superb service.

I am staying at the Shangri-La Yangon every year. Check-in and baggage handling is always hassle free and fast. The renovated rooms have a bit more of a “luxury” touch than the older ones. Location is very good.. the Sule Pagoda and the Scotts Market are a few steps away.
Breakfast is excellent, wide choice but the breakfast room tends to be very full and sometimes even requires waiting time, a situation which should not occur in a hotel like the Shangri-la.
The gallery bar is a great place for happy hour and/or a gathering with friends. There are 2 TV’s which are sometimes very loud and the venue is still a “smoking area” which can be rarely found nowadays.
There is a big construction going on besides the hotel. A second tower is being built including a few floors of office space and a shopping mall. Yangon is growing fast, so no doubt that the demand for new hotel rooms will be increasing further. A good place to stay in Yangon.

ADLON KEMPINSKI HOTEL BERLIN GERMANY

I checked-in at the Adlon Hotel in Berlin at about 11am and the lobby was busy with people.. some having drinks in the grand lobby while others checked out. The staff was extremly efficent and friendly. Everything was done quickly and very professionaly.

After I arrived at the junior suite a butler brought me fruits, chocolates and a bottle of champagne. That was a wonderful welcome treat.

The suite was luxurious, everything seemed to be brand new with lots of space and an Ipad on the desk which served as a directory guide and room service ordering online was also possible. I have tried it and it worked very well.

Bathroom was well equipped, with a separate toilet, shower and bathtub. 2 sinks with luxury amenities and a towel warmer was also available.

There were 3 windows which all could be opened and offered a wonderful view of the Brandenburger Tor.

The hotel features several restaurants and they are all very nicely decorated.

Each of the staffmembers that i have met were extremly friendly, seemed that they really enjoy their job and working there.

The Adlon Hotel in Berlin has a big history which can all be read on their website.

I found my stay extremely pleasant. The room, the staff and the restaurants are perfect and top quality and i can only give my highest recommendation and ratings.

My arrival at the Grand Hotel Taschenbergpalais was more than pleasant. The friendly check-in staff helped me out quickly with a city map and some personal information about the hotel and Dresden as a city. She recommended which city tour to take and what to explore by walking and was happy to explain me about her city. Check-in was fast and she escorted me to the room.

The room was spacious with high ceilings and beautifully decorated in true elegant grand hotel style. There was a big entrance area with a oversized armoire, a lounge area and a stylish working desk.

The bed was comfortable and there were many windows in the rooms which could be opened and offered a beautiful view of the city.

Bathroom was modern, all amenities availble plus a towel hanger which featured pre-heated bath towels. A nice thing especially in the colder winter season.

The bar was also interesting. It was Karl May themed and decorated in old style. Friendly barman and nice choice of all kinds of drinks.

The breakfast was luxurious and the choice was huge. They also offered some a la carte items such as eggs benedict which were also included in the price. Big choice of hot and cold items and all the fruits were fresh as well. Staff seemed to be a bit busy and rushing at times but they did the best they could.

My stay at the Grand Hotel Taschenbergpalais was extremly pleasing and i felt comfortable and beeing well taken care of at all times. Staff extraordinary friendly and helpful.

For a stay in the beautiful city of Dresden I can only highly recommend to stay at this hotel.
